ALBAYZIN 2026 Evaluations: Call for Participation

The ALBAYZIN Evaluations will once again be held in the framework of IberSPEECH 2026. This edition features a comprehensive evaluation campaign comprising three complementary tracks designed to advance research in Spanish speech technologies.

The challenge focuses on the COSER Spanish Rural Speech Corpus and addresses key research problems in:

• • Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
  • Speaker Diarization (SD)
  • Spoken Term Detection (STD)

Important Dates

• April 2026 – Registration opens

• May 2026 – Release of training and development data

• June 2026 – Registration deadline

• July 2026 – Release of evaluation data

• End of September 2026 – System output and system description paper submission deadline

• End of October 2026 – Distribution of results to participants

• November 18–20, 2026 – Official presentation of results at IberSPEECH 2026
