Paper Preparation Instructions
All submissions to IberSPEECH 2026 must follow the official Interspeech 2026 Paper Kit. As an ISCA-supported conference, IberSPEECH fully adopts the same templates, formatting rules, and policies. Accepted papers will be published in the ISCA Proceedings.
The Paper Kit can be downloaded from the Interspeech website or accessed via the Overleaf Template Gallery. Authors are strongly encouraged to use the Overleaf LaTeX template. An MS Word template is also available, although its use is discouraged.
Authors must carefully read the instructions provided in the Paper Kit before starting their manuscript.
Summary of Requirements
- Language: All papers must be written in English.
- Paper Length: Up to 4 pages (main content) + 2 additional pages (references, acknowledgments, and disclosure of generative AI use only).
- Abstract Maximum length: 1,000 characters (including spaces).
- Double-Blind Review: IberSPEECH follows the ISCA double-blind review process. Authors must submit:
– An anonymized version for review.
– A camera-ready version for final publication.
Carefully follow all anonymization instructions in the Paper Kit.
- File Type: Submissions must be in PDF format only.
- Layout and Templates: All submissions must use the Interspeech 2026 Paper Kit, available via:

Templates include:
– LaTeX: separate document classes for review and camera-ready versions.
– MS Word: templates for both versions.
Always select the appropriate version when preparing your submission.

Submissions must comply with the IberSPEECH 2026 Submission Policy, which includes:
Pre-prints Policy
IberSPEECH adopts ISCA’s double-blind review principles. To preserve anonymity:
- Submissions must not contain author-identifying information
- Avoid references or links that could reveal author identity
- Posting preprints online is allowed, but:
– They must not compromise anonymity.
– They should include a note indicating submission to IberSPEECH.
Blog posts, press releases, or related materials overlapping with the submission are subject to the same rules.
Conference Policy
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere. All prior work, including the authors’ own, must be properly cited.
- Affiliation: Author affiliations must correspond to those at the time of camera-ready submission.
- Referencing: Prefer peer-reviewed sources. References to non-peer-reviewed material (e.g., arXiv, software repositories) should be limited.
- Presentation: Each accepted paper must be presented in person by one of the authors.
- Coverage (Registration):
– Each paper must be covered by at least one valid registration.
– A student/retired registration may cover up to 2 papers.
– A full registration may cover up to 2 papers - Copyright: By submitting a paper, authors agree to transfer copyright to ISCA upon acceptance. Authors must ensure:
– The work is original and unpublished elsewhere.
– All third-party materials are properly authorized.
– Trademarks and copyrighted elements are correctly acknowledged.
Authors retain rights to their intellectual contributions and may reuse their work under ISCA conditions (e.g., institutional repositories with proper citation). - Archive: Accepted papers will be:
– Published in the IberSPEECH 2026 Proceedings.
– Archived in the ISCA online repository - No-show Policy: If no author can present the paper:
– Authors must inform the Technical Program Chairs immediately.
– Justification (e.g., visa issues, medical reasons) must be provided.
– Alternative arrangements may be considered.
Unjustified no-shows may result in removal from proceedings and ISCA archive.

Paper Submission
Aligned with Interspeech adoption of “Double-blind review”, IberSPEECH submissions must be blind.
Manuscripts must be submitted in PDF format only.
Upon acceptance, at least one author per submission will be required to register and present at the conference.
